Scientific Calculator

Evaluate expressions with trigonometry, roots, logarithms, powers, and factorials. Choose degrees or radians.

Result
4.5

How the calculation works

Available functions are sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, sqrt, abs, ln, log, exp, floor, and ceil, with constants pi and e. Enclose function arguments in parentheses.

Inputs

  • Expression
  • Angles

Calculation details

In degree mode, sqrt(16) + sin(30) gives 4.5. ln is the natural logarithm and log is base ten. Write factorial as 5!; integers 0–170 are supported.

In radian mode, sin(pi/2) gives 1. Write multiplication explicitly: 2*pi rather than 2pi. Complex results and program code are not supported.
